Maha Qasim is the Founder & CEO of Zero-Point Partners, an advisory & consulting firm focused on enabling the transition to a sustainable economy. She has over 15 years of experience in climate finance, environmental management, and environmental, social & governance (ESG) strategy, performance & disclosure.
Maha is a member of faculty at the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance and has designed and conducted ESG capacity-building workshops for Board members and executive leadership teams. She also supports the German Development Agency’s $10 million Strengthening Climate Adaptation & Resilience program on climate risk assessment and capacity-building for government stakeholders. Maha serves on the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network- Pakistan and provides business coaching to promising climate and clean energy entrepreneurs through USAID’s Private Finance Advisory Network.
Earlier, Maha provided strategic support for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Pakistan Engagement Strategy focused on climate change, poverty alleviation, nutrition, and financial inclusion. She served on the Expert Working Group on Climate Change & Health co-convened by the federal ministries of Health and Climate Change and has co-authored policy papers on Energy Security and Green Finance in Pakistan for the Asian Development Bank.
Maha has a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environment and a BSE in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Princeton University.
